The Gauteng Tour Operator’s Association (GATOA)
GATOA is the first and the only tour operator’s association of its kind. It is the first and the only tour operator association of primarily small to medium size businesses. It is the first and the only tour operator association that is provincially bound. The Gauteng Tour Operators’ Association was established in 2007 with the intention of serving as a forum for the development, advocacy and promotion of small tour operators in Gauteng. The association is a Section 21 Company and duly registered under the Companies Act of the Republic of South Africa. What do we do?

The Gauteng Tour Operators’ Association is a member-driven non-profit organization established to promote, protect and propagate the interest of its members by ensuring that its members provide the highest quality of service to its customers, clients, associates and stakeholders.

The Gauteng Tour Operators’ Association represents small to medium size business that are involved as:

• Tour Operators
• Tour brokers
• Tour agents

GATOA assures users of its members that they bear the best quality of service and offering in the industry. By using our members, consumers of our members’ products can be assured that they have passed the most stringent quality assurance measures to qualify to be members of the association. The association has the following types of members:

• Emerging and developing members
